Knowledge Graph Consultant and Engineer (all genders)
starting on 1 August 2026.
The position is a 24-month fixed-term position as part of the project „KGI4NFDI: Knowledge Graph Infrastructure for National Research Data Infrastructure“ (kgi.services.base4nfdi.de/).
KGI4NFDI is developing a reusable knowledge graph infrastructure to improve the interoperability of research-related knowledge graphs. Scientific communities should be enabled to build decentralized knowledge graphs using standardized methods and technologies. After a successful initial phase, the current project aims to expand the infrastructure, broaden the user base, and develop a sustainable operating model. The Mannheim University Library focuses in particular on tasks related to advising and training researchers and fostering collaboration among academic communities. It also provides support for the planning and implementation of pilot projects, and the development of knowledge graph services suitable for productive use. The working languages of the project are English and German.
